Update on the Gene Hackman death

There is a previous diary, but I did this one because there are further details.

Carbon monoxide and natural gas leaks have BOTH been ruled out as the cause of death.

Hackman, his wife and ONE dog were found deceased. (Two other dogs were found outside on the property)

The front door was open and there were pills found on the floor. Not going to speculate, but this does not seem like foul play. 

The death of the dog could be one of two things:

1. Accidental because the dog ingested the same pills or

2. the dog was elderly and they euthanized the dog at the same time

I used to be an estate planning lawyer, and it is actually a not unheard of request for people to attempt to put instructions in their will that the executor euthanize their pets after they pass away

If this was a very senior dog, this would not be out of the realm of possibilities.
