First thing out of the gate, after squeezing his massive mandate onto his Dissolute Throne behind the Resolute Desk, 47 signed his more-importanter-than-anything-else
Executive Order: #14147 Ending the Weaponization of the Federal Government. EO14147 could be named “Criminalizing Federal Law Enforcement,” but that doesn’t quite cover it. For starters, it should be noted that “weaponization” is a specious term. The whole EO is based upon this glorious fiction of grievance, paranoia, and tabloid fantasy cooked up by some quisling FoxNews flack deep in the steamy bowels of Mar-a-Lardo.
“Weaponization” is completely bogus and reappears in subsequent Executive Orders. It’s not a real word, and it has no basis in law or statute. In fact, the “weaponization” EO was simply the first malodorous plop of the whole shit-storm coming out of the White House for the last three weeks; and that shit-storm is based on a shared fever-dream of America’s perfect past.
The text of EO14147 boils down to “The previous administration hurt my fee-fees. They put my friends in jail and cost me a lot of money. It’s because there’s too many black and brown people in government. We’re going to punish the whole federal workforce for doing their jobs and we’re coming after everyone. I am not a crook.”
Since “weaponization” is not a real word, it’s not a real crime. EO14147 attempts to create a crime that we could call “Felony Following Existing Laws” or “Felony Law and Order.”
