This is part two of a diary I posted yesterday about Israel and the ethnic cleansing that has been going on in the Middle East for over a year now. It would appear, from the replies to my previous diary, that no one, and I mean no one here supported Israel. Not one person here supported the killing of the tens of thousands of people, and not one person told us that we were fools for standing up for civilians, and against Israeli terror. I just didn’t remember how things were here a year ago, it seems.
I say that’s great. I’ll take it. I’ve been corrected and I apologize for my diary yesterday, because it seems I was completely wrong. Nobody here supports Israeli genocide and nobody here is ever going to defend Israel for their actions. Ever. No one ever has, and no one ever will... because that’s just not KOS. I get it, and thank you for correcting me.
And that’s amazing, you know why? Because if that’s true, it means we’re all on the same page now. Not one person here is going to say it wasn’t genocide when the world is calling it genocide. No one can say it’s not genocide when international arrest warrants are out for the people responsible for that very genocide.
Right?
If nobody here supported genocide — as I’m being told — then we will all support doing the right thing next:
Which is Reparations.

I think we can all agree that building hotels and resorts where millions of ethnically cleansed people once lived is not right. Killing entire groups of people for future profits and luxury… it doesn’t matter if you’re Christian, or Muslim, or a non-believer… we all know that is as depraved as it gets.
We also know turning the whole country “into a parking lot” — as Trump and Netanyahu like to revel — destroying schools, kindergartens, universities, residential buildings and houses, displacing millions of people from their homes… that all constitutes ethnic cleansing. We can all agree on that; if not on other forums and websites, at least everyone can agree on it here on KOS.
The indigenous have to return to their homes. But first their homes need to be rebuilt. Those universities, the elementary schools and the high schools, houses and skyscrapers, dozens of hospitals, all the roads and the highways, the shopping centers, grocery stores, factories, and piers and docks… all the way down to the new graveyards. Everything was leveled, and everything has to be rebuilt. From scratch.
But who will pay for all of this? This is hundreds of billions of dollars of reconstruction.
Are we the taxpayers going to send money there for decades, paying for what Israel did?
Yes… I guarantee you, if Israel is not made to pay reparations, and if they are stopped in time from building hotels and resorts in Gaza, the whole world will pay reparations to rebuild it. My taxes will go towards it and yours will, and the French taxes, and the German taxes. We are all going to be rebuilding Gaza with our own money for many years to come.
I am ok with this partially. I do think we should help, but I don’t think the nation that caused the mayhem and the destruction should be let off the hook. We need to make sure the lion’s share of the funds used to rebuild Gaza come from Israel. Or our financial assistance to Israel needs to be diverted to Gaza until it is rebuilt. They destroyed it, they should pay for nearly all of it. Even if they were to be forgiven, as a nation, for the genocide of the civilians, they should never be let off the hook for the damages they created, and the demolition of an entire country.
And we have to talk about this now, because they are using now to talk about hotels and resorts. If you stay quiet right now, after your support for Gaza all along, none of your support will have mattered. You can’t bring the dead back, but you can make sure the living have a home once again.
Israel has to rebuild Gaza. Israel has to pay reparations, or we all will.
If no one here supports genocide and ethnic cleansing, then through logic we can deduce that everyone here will support reparations from Israel.
