Full Pre-Frontal Stupidity

Should people with less than fully developed brains be redesigning the government?

Remember doing anything really stupid (maybe even foolishly dangerous) when you were young? Or perhaps you made some bad life choices when you were a young man or woman. Maybe you’re still living with the consequences. The pre-frontal cortex of the human brain does not develop until age 25. In some cases 26, 27. That pre-frontal cortex is responsible for planning, decision making and prioritizing as well as other complex cognitive behaviors. Among them, reasoning, problem solving, comprehension and impulse control. Currently, everything from the brain to the bowels of our government is being reviewed and ransacked by a group of teenagers using the most powerful tool invented by man in 100 years.
