I don’t want to squish your optimism given recent court victories, however…Elon Musk is more of a distraction than a serious threat beyond some possible security and intelligence blunders that could jeopardize people’s information. Same with the Gaza ruse and the Birthright Citizenship charade which has no chance and they know it. Musk is serving as a stalking horse. After he pays off Trump’s legal debts he will be expendable.

They got the real prize they wanted In Russell Vought as the head of OMB. The most powerful position in government other than the President for getting draconian policies enacted. He co-authored Project 2025 and is brilliant, ideological, ruthless and knows how the system works. He’s behind most of what you are seeing. It’s right out of Project 2025.

They also got Pam Bondi as AG. They will get Kash Patel as FBI director. That Trifecta is what they needed to pull this thing off. Some of what looks like blunders are trial balloons and red herrings. It is more sophisticated than one might anticipate given the lack of it in his first administration.
