The three weeks that Trump has been back in office (200 years in “sane person”), GOP Senators have been dead silent as Trump and Musk have gone on a looting spree of Federal funds and power — enjoying the warmth of Lady Liberty being burnt at the stake.
The dam is starting to crack, however.
It was reported that Senators are being flooded with 1,600 angry phone calls… per minute.
This of course does not touch on the mass of email, texts, unifying Democrats, and masses of protestors across the country sharpening their pitchforks.
The GOP dam is starting to crack.
Just today, Republican Senator Jerry Moran of Kansas voiced disdain regarding the games Trump/Musk is playing with USAID:
“Time is running out before this lifesaving aid perishes… Food stability is essential to political stability, and our food aid programs help feed the hungry, bolster our national security and provide an important market for our farmers, especially when commodity prices are low.”
Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah, I know.
Weak language — especially when that language is not placing blame on Donald Trump or Elon Musk.
But it is still a GOP Senator opening their mouths and saying, “hey, I don’t like this.”
The dam is slowly cracking, only three weeks in to the 2nd term. That is excellent progress for breaking the GOP coalition.
They cannot hold our anger back forever.
Keep pushing.
Keep fighting.
The instant these morons realize that Trump does not benefit them politically anymore, they will vote to impeach him themselves.
