The stag horn fern above came to me from my brother in law after my brother had died. It was one small foot, mounted on a huge board. It had come from a big one they had in San Diego but when he moved to the desert, it would not have survived so he divied it up among us and that was in the mid 90’s. Now it is a huge thing on the same board which is almost completely engulfed.
As you can see by Itzl's concerned look, this group is for us to check in at to let people know we are alive, doing OK, and not affected by such things as heat, blizzards, floods, wild fires, hurricanes, tornadoes, power outages, or other such things that could keep us off DKos. If you're not here, or anywhere else on DKos, and there are adverse conditions in your area (floods, heatwaves, hurricanes, etc.), we are going to check up on you. If you are going to be away from your computer for a day or a week, let us know here. We care!
IAN is a great group to join, and a good place to learn to write diaries. Drop one of us a PM to be added to the Itzl Alert Network anytime! We all share the publishing duties, and we welcome everyone who reads IAN to write diaries for the group! Every member is an editor, so anyone can take a turn when they have something to say, photos and music to share, a cause to promote or news!

I got released from jury duty and was able to come home before 10a. It is a dreary day so the pictures are low contrast and I like the look. You can see, I am not a neat and tidy gardener but rather let things get away from me sometimes.
This is just blooming near the snake plant, under the honeysuckle tree.
Clivia
These were gifted to me a few years ago and OMG, they are prolific! There are a lot more fronds than seen here and they are all loaded with buds. The flowers will be huge, deep magenta and last for a few days.
Magenta night bloomers
This is a hardy bulb that my Saturday BFF gave me years ago. It has divided often and I have some scattered around but this is the only one with a bud on it. The flowers will be beautiful in spite of its poor surroundings.

I was so excited when I saw this new little foot on the superb um stag horn fern! It looked like it was dead but I couldn’t let go so I keep watering it and gave it a nice cool place and it is going to live. The little foot has doubled in size in a week. I have hope for it.
Superb um with a will to live
Have a good day. I am having a mammogram Thursday morning. If you have boobs, be sure to keep them checked out on a regular schedule as long as the options are available.
