The Schumer proposal may be a Trojan horse to sell out democracy

The Schumer proposal may be theater and not what it seems. If the Democrats trade a closure vote to allow a vote on the House continuing resolution in trade for a vote on the “clean” CR they have, in fact, capitulated: the clean CR will be voted down and the House bill, enshrining Trump’s kingly power to arbitrarily stop spending will be enshrined in law. The House bill also guts Washington DC’s budget and OK’s the closing of USAID.

Call your Senators and tell them they must not allow a vote on the House CR.  There is no reason to ever vote for a Democrat who votes yes on closure for the House continuing resolution because they will have sold you out.
