Infectious Updates: You Can't Make This Stuff Up

A pregnant woman in Lubbock, Texas came in to University Medical Center Children's Hospital to give birth and turned out to have measles.  She thus exposed her own baby, lots of other moms and NEWBORNS, and staff.

The staff are scrambling to give immunoglobulin to the babies, who cannot be vaccinated.  Any unvaccinated adults could take a vax right now (if they will!) to help prevent illness.
