Folks,
For months now, I’ve been calling for Democrats to have more open conversations about the endless chaos in Washington and what to do about it. Turns out, that’s easier said than done.
With Elon Musk fully in control of the town square and all of his crooked algorithms and censorship, the pro-democracy movement has been virtually silenced. Until now.
About 10 months ago, my good friend Joe Trippi started developing Sez Us, a pro-democracy social media platform, as a rival to the other networks, especially propaganda networks like X and Meta. We need an alternative to the platforms that dominate our discourse, stoke division, and have destroyed people’s trust in each other.
This is how we won in 2017. Giving people a chance to come together and talk about what really mattered to them. Kitchen table issues. And not giving them the reasons to go back to their corners.
What makes Sez Us different is that it’s a civil place for human beings – not an environment of hate-filled name calling and angry rhetoric that has been the norm since MAGA took over several of our communication channels. Sez Us is an innovative platform that propels civil conversations over toxic content, and rewards respectful conversations between human users, eliminates bot profiles, and gives members full control of their digital identity, reputation, and content.
This is something I’ve been a part of from the beginning. That’s why I wanted to let you know about the launch today and invite you to join us on a better platform - you can now create a sez.us account.
Once you join the community - we need to hear your voices and see your posts so we can improve the experience day by day. Many of you already have and it has been integral to the development of the platform.
You can download Sez Us from the Apple and Google app stores.
It would mean a great deal if you help me spread the word about sez.us on your other platforms as well. As you probably know all too well, there’s a serious demand for a space like this among pro-democracy Americans.
We have to come together. This is a platform that lets us do exactly that. Rebuilding the feeling of trust and community is how we break this fever, folks. That’s what we’re doing with Sez Us. It takes patience and hard work to build our own network, but I promise it will be worth it, so please stick with us.
Thank you for all your support over the years. I am excited to see where this one goes.
-Doug
Passing this along as information. My concern is that its too audience-focused and thus too “inside the bubble”. A group of people agreeing with each other isn’t likely to come up with the best strategies to reach out to voters who don’t.
