Remember all the way back to yesterday morning when it was reported that Musk was getting briefed on top secret plans for war with China?
.
Brave people leaked the meeting to the paper and we responded with outrage AND IT WORKED.
.
.
It feels like we never win because the press only reports the awful stuff he does (and there is plenty!) and then leaves out how he reverses when we push back (which happens too)! Panic sells. And then people repost and republish the bad and we all panic and despair. Because the bad things are real and horrifying and we are kind people who care.

Holy shit. Republican Harriet Hagemen got torn apart at a town hall in Wyoming last night. In a state that voted for Trump by 46 points.
She tried defending DOGE and it went as well as you’d imagine.
“Deport Elon, Deport Elon!”
Watch to the end…

Town halls are continuing around the country this week
he GOP is starting to realize that real constituents—even Republican ones—are showing up and speaking out about Trump’s abuse of power.
GOP Rep. Harriet Hageman decided to hold another town hall last night in Wyoming—and it went even worse than her last one. Hundreds of fed-up voters showed up in her deep-red Republican district.
When Hageman tried to lie and say Social Security won’t be cut, one audience member said: “I request that you actually watch some accurate TV and read valid news, because that is untrue.” Will someone please send her a gift subscription to the Dworkin Report?
Nebraska GOP Rep. Mike Flood held a town hall Tuesday night, and he was rightfully lambasted, booed, and heckled. When the crowd chanted “tax the rich!” Flood replied by snidely asking: “So your proposal to solve this is to tax the rich?” The crowd erupted into a roaring applause, essentially saying, “yes, that’s our proposal.”
In Wisconsin, folks packed the house for an empty-seat town hall in GOP Rep. Derrick Van Orden’s district. Dem. Rep. Mark Pocan hosted it, since Van Orden refuses to hold in-person events of his own. An empty chair on stage spoke volumes, as it propped up a big sign that read: “Reserved Derrick Van Orden.” According to Pocan, “300 people in the town of 4,500 showed up.”
There was another empty-seat town hall in GOP Rep. Jack Bergman’s district in Michigan. One of our readers, MC Friedrich, said: “two overflow rooms listened to participants record their 3-minute remarks.” One attendee was teacher Christiana Reynolds, who turned to the empty chair and “thanked” Bergman for taking the time to be there. Reynolds said Trump is “illegally trying to destroy the Dept. of Education,” and wondered what kids are “supposed to do when our high schools start closing?”
One of our readers, Lucy, says she is a poll worker in the ever so important state of Wisconsin. Early voting started on Tuesday. Lucy told us they have been “Hearing a LOT of anti-Musk comments among the people coming in to cast in-person absentee ballots.”
Just a couple of examples!
.
More HUGE pushback comes from people marching and taking to the streets and sidwalks! Keep at it!
.
.
Well, remember how outraged everyone was a couple of days ago when they removed stuff about black veterans and Navajo code talkers? Well the outrage and phone calls WORKED

Elon tells Tesla employees not to sell TSLA stocks as board and execs are dumping
At an all-hands meeting last night, Elon Musk stood before Tesla employees and told them to “hang on to their TSLA stocks” as Tesla board members and top executive are dumping their shares amid a 40% crash.
Begging! what a show of strength. LOL.
Exclusive: Tesla trade-ins on pace for record high amid Musk backlash
Motorists have traded in a record number of Tesla
(TSLA.O), opens new tab electric vehicles this month, Edmunds data showed, amid a wave of protests against CEO
Elon Musk's work as an adviser to U.S. President
Donald Trump.
Tesla cars from model year 2017 or newer accounted for 1.4% of all the vehicles traded in until March 15, up from 0.4% in March last year, according to data provided to Reuters by Edmunds. Analysts at the national car shopping website said that share could grow through the second half of the month.
In latest blow to Tesla, regulators recall nearly all Cybertrucks
U.S. safety regulators on Thursday recalled virtually all Cybertrucks on the road, the eighth recall of the Tesla-made vehicles since deliveries to customers began just over a year ago.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s recall, which covers more than 46,000 Cybertrucks, warned that an exterior panel that runs along the left and right side of the windshield can detach while driving, creating a dangerous road hazard for other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.
The stainless steel strip, called a cant rail assembly, between the windshield and the roof on both sides, is bound to the truck’s assembly with a structural adhesive, the NHTSA report said. The remedy uses an adhesive that’s not been found to be vulnerable to “environmental embrittlement,” the NHTSA said, and includes additional reinforcements.
Tesla will replace the panel free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed May 19, 2025.
Elon Musk issued summons in SEC case over Twitter stake disclosure
Elon Musk, the world's richest man and a top adviser to U.S. President Donald Trump, was issued a summons in connection with the Securities and Exchange Commission's lawsuit against him, a court filing on Thursday showed.
A process server gave the civil summons and other documents on March 14 to a security guard at the Brownsville, Texas, headquarters of SpaceX, the space technology company of which Musk is CEO, the filing said. An answer is due on April 4, according to the docket.
Protests are working; keep it up!
If you want proof that the Tesla protests are working, the US Secretary of Commerce, Howard Lutnick, appeared on Fox News on Wednesday and said,
If you want to learn something on this show tonight, buy Tesla. It’s unbelievable that this guy’s stock is this cheap. It will never be this cheap again.
Setting aside Lutnick’s audacity, lack of ethics, and hucksterism, his promotion of Tesla’s stock reeks of desperation. The fastest way to remove the sheen from Tesla’s image is to make Tesla stock an official “buy” recommendation of the US government—right alongside US Savings Bonds.
Worse (for Lutnick), if Tesla’s stock price declines, investors who purchased stock on Wednesday based on his guarantee that “It will never be this cheap again” might ponder whether they have a claim against Lutnick. While ordinary television stock-pickers might have a defense to such claims, Lutnick’s statement amounted to a Public Service Announcement on behalf of the US government.
At this odd moment in history, it turns out that protests aimed at an electric vehicle maker are the perfect vehicle for channeling the fury of the American people with pinpoint accuracy. The protests strike at the heart of the wealth and ego of the man most responsible for the dismantling of the American government.
Sometimes being the most evil man on the planet is hard, you guys!!
and the courts are holding up and being amazing!
Judge stops Musk's team from 'unbridled access' to Social Security private data
A federal judge said on Thursday the Social Security Administration likely violated privacy laws by giving tech billionaire
Elon Musk's aides "unbridled access" to the data of millions of Americans, and ordered a halt to further record sharing.
U.S. District Judge Ellen Lipton Hollander of Maryland said Musk's Department of Government Efficiency was intruding into "the personal affairs of millions of Americans" as part of its hunt for fraud and waste under President
Donald Trump.
Judge blocks Trump administration from terminating $14 billion in ‘green bank’ grants
A federal judge on Tuesday blocked the Trump administration from terminating $14 billion in grants awarded to three climate groups by the Biden administration, saying the government’s “vague and unsubstantiated assertions of fraud are insufficient.”
The order by U.S. District Judge Tonya Chutkan prevents — for now — the Environmental Protection Agency from ending the grant program, which totaled $20 billion. The judge also blocked Citibank, which holds the money on behalf of EPA, from transferring it to the government or anyone else.
And time and time again, the losers tell their supporters and fox news morons that they will ignore the courts, but then…. they quietly do what the court says. Not so tough in real life!!
AOC and Sanders rip into Republicans on powerful swing state tour
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Democrat of New York, joined Sen. Bernie Sanders, independent of Vermont, on his Fighting Oligarchy tour Thursday, making stops in Nevada and Arizona.
Similar to Democratic Gov. Tim Walz of Minnesota, who is hosting town halls in red districts where Republicans are hiding from their constituents, Ocasio-Cortez and Sanders are rallying in swing state areas, highlighting how the GOP is actively undermining the working class.
“Medicaid, Medicare, and Social Security were promises that we as a people have made to each other about the kind of country we are and the kind of society we want to live in. And I don't know about you, Arizona, but I want to live in an America that guarantees health care to every person,” she said in Tempe, Arizona.
Sanders kept the focus on growing wealth inequality and the paradoxes of GOP politicians pleading poverty when it comes to social safety net programs.
Yesterday, 11,000 people turned out to hear Sanders and AOC in Republican-led Greeley, Colorado. Another 34,000 turned out in Denver. WOW!
and this total fucking hero, Mark Elias— I Worry, but I Fight
“Are you worried?” That is always the first question.
“Of course I am worried,” I respond. “The president of the United States considers me an enemy and has promised retribution. I would be an idiot not to be worried. But I am not going to give in. I will continue to fight.”
I have had a version of this conversation on and off for years. Since Jan. 20, 2025, I have had it nearly every day.
worry because Donald Trump has targeted me and those associated with me for retribution. I worry because the attorney general is an election denier eager to please her boss. I worry because the FBI director published an enemies list and has called me “an enemy of the Republican Party.” I worry because the Department of Justice is being hollowed out — its principled career prosecutors replaced by Trump loyalists. I worry because Trump’s hatred inspires the hatred of others, which could lead to violence. I worry because our courts are not equipped to handle widespread, politically motivated, spurious investigations and prosecutions.
Most of all, I worry because, to do my job — to fulfill my duty as a lawyer and as a citizen — I must regularly say and do things that will enrage Trump and his supporters.
But here is the key point: Despite that worry, I cannot stop standing up for what is right. I cannot turn a blind eye to injustice. I cannot ignore what Trump is doing to our democracy and our country. Or more precisely, I will not.
So, I won’t.
Before the election, when Biden was in office and many assumed Kamala Harris would win or that Trump wouldn’t be so bad, it was fashionable to speak about the threat Trump posed and the need to protect democracy.
Now that Trump has proven to be a ruthless autocrat, too many have grown timid and silent.
That is simply not who I am. It is not what I believe, and it is not what I will do.
Instead, I will worry. I will hope. And I will fight.

Trump’s attempt to shut down the U.S. Department of Education will harm tens of millions of students, including disabled and low-income students who rely on this agency to access a quality education, and it’s illegal. We will see this administration in court.
and even Lisa Murkowski
Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) says Musk continuing to talk about cutting Social Security isn’t helping Republicans: “It doesn’t help the president when you have somebody who clearly is not worried about whether or not Social Security benefits are going to be there for him. It worries Americans all over the country. Calling it a fraudulent ‘Ponzi scheme’ doesn’t do anything to calm the anxiety of people who are already anxious about what’s going on with some of the safety-net programs.”
Murkowski told Politico that her Republican colleagues are afraid to speak out against Trump or Musk: “They’re looking at how many things are being thrown at me, and it’s like, ‘Maybe I just better duck and cover’. That’s why you’ve got everybody just like, zip lip, not saying a word because they’re afraid they’re going to be taken down. They’re going to be primaried. They’re going to be given names in the media.”
… But she says she is not afraid of Musk: “They’re traumatizing people in the country. So I’m not going to compromise my own integrity by hiding from my words when I feel they need to be spoken. And it may be that Elon Musk has decided he’s going to take the next billion dollars that he makes off of Starlink and put it directly against Lisa Murkowski.”
And the amazing public servants all over the country who are speaking out
Musk posted on social media that the “leakers” “will be found.” “I look forward to the prosecutions of those at the Pentagon who are leaking maliciously false information to NYT,” he posted.
Aside from appearing to confirm the story—one can’t “leak” a false story—Sophia Cai, Danny Nguyen, Daniel Payne, Amy MacKinnon, and Eli Stokols of Politico suggest that Musk’s threat has backfired. “We are public servants, not Elon’s servants,” one Food and Drug Administration employee told the reporters, adding, “[t]he public deserves to know how dysfunctional, destructive, and deceptive all of this has been and continues to be.”
A senior Federal Aviation Administration official said, referring to Musk, “He IS A LEAKER. When you put hard drives on data systems at government agencies you are creating the biggest security breaches we have seen in years and years. Possibly ever.” A Department of Agriculture staffer said: “If the Biden administration or Obama had acted like this, no one would have tolerated it. The Trump administration doesn’t get a pass.”
the most important thing to remember — Trump's kryptonite is a person with courage.
He cannot understand, much less abide, a person who refuses to cower in the face of ugly threats and presidential menace.
Trump's only talent is the ability to smell fear and identify the weak. His only strategy is to cull the herd. He wilts in the face of organized opposition. He wins by dividing us. He loses when we unite.
We will defeat Trump if each of us demonstrates personal courage in time a political peril. If one person with courage is stronger than Trump, imagine a nation of tens of millions of Americans who say, “Enough. Not me. Not us. We stand united against a reign of lawlessness and retribution.”
and don’t forget — He is WEAK

Trump’s Fury at Canada Boils Over on Fox—and Polls Now Show a Backlash
This comes as a surprising new poll shows that American opinion is shifting against a soft line on Russia, even as other polling shows public rejection of Trump’s anti-Canada stance. We talked to The Bulwark’s William Saletan, who has a good piece arguing that Trump’s views of Canada and Ukraine are connected. He explains how Trump is now adopting the same view of Canada that Putin has of Ukraine, and argues that the public may be turning against Trump on both fronts
even fox news is turning on parts of his agenda Fox News Suddenly Panics About Trump Economy as a Brutal New Poll Hits
As Maria Bartiromo and other Fox News personalities grow unnerved about Trump’s economy, a sharp observer of right-wing media breaks down the real reasons for their alarm—and why it will get worse.
lets leave on this note — The tide is shifting.
Can you feel it? Like an undertow in the shallows, the currents beneath the surface are reversing direction. The upstart waves divert our attention with spray and noise. But the undertow exerts a silent force, restoring equilibrium, settling nature’s accounts by subsuming the momentary turbulence of breakers into the stillness of deep oceans.
On Tuesday, Chief Justice John Roberts affirmed that we are a nation of laws. Two other federal judges reversed the lawless actions of Trump. A major Tesla investor said Musk must resign from the carmaker’s board. Republicans cowered in the incestuous embrace of Fox News or hid behind locked doors in their Capitol offices. The Democratic base continues to lead the way, not waiting for permission or direction from leaders who are oddly cautious and subdued (with notable exceptions).
Tuesday was a promising day for those who are actively defending the rule of law. While it is likely that things will get worse before they get better, the positive developments on Tuesday demonstrate that we can reverse the tide, like the silent undertow. Indeed, we are reversing the tide. But it is easier to break things than to repair them. We cannot allow that fundamental law of the universe to deter or discourage us. The path to recovery is clear. We need only take it.
and this is happening due to pushback. So get your ass out there (if you can) and help with non-violent and peaceful PUSHBACK. it works
if you are in a position to attend your first protest—or your hundredth—that is the most important thing you can do at the moment (in addition to other important resistance activities).
Why is joining in the protests so important? There are several reasons.
First, widespread public opposition provides moral support for judges who are making decisions that challenge a president who fancies himself a king.
Second, growing public protests can provide backbone and encouragement to our congressional leaders and deliver a sobering message to the Republican caucus in Congress.
But most importantly, we will encourage other Americans to join us. The complete answer to Trump's lawless reign is for those who have granted the “consent of the governed” to revoke that consent.
We don’t have to wait until 2026 or 2028. Trump continues on his rampage because he believes he can get away with it. Mass protests will prove him wrong—if only by causing the cowardly GOP members of Congress to fear the electoral wrath of the people more than they fear the revenge of Donald Trump.
The resistance by hundreds of thousands of Americans is turning the tide, like the silent undertow. Imagine what resistance by millions of Americans could do!

“Whatever happens, stay alive.
Don't die before you're dead.
Don't lose yourself, don't lose hope, don't lose direction.
Stay alive, with yourself, with every cell of your body, with every fiber of your skin.
Stay alive, learn, study, think, read, build, invent, create, speak, write, dream, design.

Stay alive with joy.
