Russia is demanding sanctions relief in exchange for a ceasefire.
The EU has flatly stated that Russia will get zero sanctions relief until it withdraws completely from Ukraine.
x
🚨🚨Russia's "unconditional withdrawal" from Ukraine is one of the main preconditions for changing or lifting EU sanctions, @ec.europa.eu spokesperson Anitta Hipper told Ukrainian media outlet Suspilne today.🧵

Steve Witkoff is nothing more than a Russian stooge, a useful idiot.
x
Steve Witkoff told Tucker Carlson that four Ukrainian regions (which Russia partially or fully controls at the moment) should become Russian because there were "referendums" where "overwhelming majority of the people" voted to be under the Russian rule.
This is not true.

Russia likely has everything on Witkoff’s phone, including his Amazon password.
x
Meiselas: Steve Witkoff, was allegedly in Moscow while he was on this group chat. Do you believe the Russians now have all of that information and potentially more?
Rice: Well, yes—the Russians have whatever Witkoff was doing or saying on his personal cell phone. The Russians undoubtedly have it.

Russia should pack all their armored vehicles with anti-tank mines.
Makes for an excellent bavovna.
Why go room by room clearing Russians from a building when you can just collapse the entire building?
They say that any landing you can walk away from is a good one. By that standard this was a good landing.
Fly the friendly skies of Russia.

Russia is expected to keep losing 50-100 commercial aircraft annually from inability to maintain them for lack of spare parts due to sanctions.
Currently there are about 800 jetliners, half of which are capable of international flights.
The situation will be critical in 2027.

Russian ships aren’t any safer these days than their planes.
The ship's most recent track shows it barely made it out of port (<5km and well within cell phone range) before it exploded and returned.
Russia unleashes an all-out assault on Kryvyi Rih.
Russians set up a trip wire to deter their North Korean comrades from stealing their stuff.
x
"Here's a tripwire. From the Koreans. It's a warning. Because those narrow-eyed f*cking loiter around here at night and steal things."
A Russian soldier from Kursk region complained during a "tour" of his dugout that they are forced to set up tripwires at the entrance from North Korean comrades.

Two weeks? Jesus H. Christ! C’mon.
Is Russia going to roll across Poland in two weeks with its Chinese golf carts, scooters and donkeys?

⚡️ Poland can withstand invasion for 2 weeks before NATO steps in, security chief says.
"I think, depending on how this fight goes, this defense can be carried out for a week or two at today's inventory levels," said BBN chief Dariusz Lukowski.

He’s not exactly the sharpest tool in the shed, is he?
How bad have things gotten when you find yourself agreeing with Russian propaganda mouthpieces?
Russia is already accusing Ukraine of violating the ceasefire.
x
‼️🇺🇦 The statements of the Russian Ministry of Defense about Ukraine's alleged violation of the ceasefire conditions regarding energy facilities do not correspond to reality, - General Staff
AFU did not launch UAV strikes on Russian energy facilities in the Kursk, Bryansk regions, and Crimea.

The danger of Russia using nuclear weapons in Ukraine has actually gone up, IMHO, because Putin knows Trump will flinch and not retaliate in kind.
People in hell are demanding ice water but they ain’t gettin’ it either.
Gagauz is a pro-Russian enclave in the southern part of Moldova distinct from Transnistria.
According to Teleradio-Moldova, Gutsul is a suspect in the case of illegal funding from the pro-Russian party Shor. On May 14, 2023, Eugenia Gutsul won the elections in the Gagauz autonomy with backing from fugitive business magnate Ilan Shor, who was sentenced in 2023 to 15 years in prison in connection with the disappearance of $1 billion from Moldovan banks. After the election, Gutsul, as well as Shor's team that supported her, were accused of voter corruption. The National Anticorruption Center then opened a criminal case. All denied the charges.
Their charred remains will nicely decorate the sides of Crimean roads.
Hey Grandpa, what did you do during the war in Ukraine?
Well, there was that time I fell off of my electric assault scooter.
In fairness to the Russian, those helmets can hurt you.
More wasted lives.
