Stand Up for Science is a grassroots operation consisting of over 100 volunteers, all united in our belief that science is for everyone and benefits everyone.
You can check out our Bluesky starter pack of SUFS organizers here. (It’s just the lead organizers for now; check back soon to meet more of our team!)
The official SUFS rallies are those that our volunteers–with the support of our core leadership team–were able to start organizing before this entire thing blew up beyond our wildest dreams. At a certain point, based on internal capacity, resources, and volunteer interest, we needed to finalize that list.
If you would like to take action on March 7th, we encourage you to participate in a walkout at your campus or workplace at 12:00 PM local time.

We saw some of this next last week. There will be much more, as the cowardly big banks continue to paint targets on their metaphorical backs. Get everyone you know, and every organization you are part of, to take out their money.
One, two, three,
Hit ‘em in the knee!
Four, five, six,
Hit ‘em in the pocketbook!

Good marketing. Those who take this deal will be very vocal about their gratitude to Polestar, combining Swedish engineering with Chinese manufacturing, including in South Carolina. US production has begun, with initial sales in Canada. We do not have a date for them to be introduced into the US, due to non-tariff trade barriers that can be overcome with sufficient legal and financial expertise.
