I was struck by Trmp’s repetition of the “never seen” trope throughout his long, long speech to the Joint Session of Congress. So I did a search for “seen” on the transcript and this is the result:
The presidential election of November 5th was a mandate like has not been seen in many decades….

We are opening up many of those power plants right now. And frankly, we have never seen anything like it...
