I don't know if you heard the latest, but one of the richest men in the world, Mexican Telcom Billionaire Carlos Slim just cancelled a $7,000,000,000.00 (at least) deal with Starlink, because Elon Muck thought that it would be funny to insinuate the Slim was in bed with the cartels. Slim’s company, América Móvil, announced a massive $22 billion investment over the next three years to enhance its network, signaling a major strategic shift in Latin America’s telecommunications industry. The decision is expected to deliver a financial blow to Starlink, which had anticipated a profitable partnership in the region.
Given Musk’s family history as I understand it, I don’t think that they would do something to intervene if he were a risk to himself or others, but when it threatens the money that they get to suck up by being in his orbit, the excrement suddenly gets real.
So, maybe they will stage some sort of intervention to protect what they see as their money.
I’ve heard that James Parnell Spears has a lot of free time these days. Maybe he could manage Elon Musk’s affairs.
