As you can see by Itzl's concerned look, this group is for us to check in at to let people know we are alive, doing OK, and not affected by such things as heat, blizzards, floods, wild fires, hurricanes, tornadoes, power outages, or other such things that could keep us off DKos. If you're not here, or anywhere else on DKos, and there are adverse conditions in your area (floods, heatwaves, hurricanes, etc.), we are going to check up on you. If you are going to be away from your computer for a day or a week, let us know here. We care!

Greetings friends, and welcome to another Saturday.  Thank you for stopping by and checking on me. Congratulations on making it through another week of chaos.

Yes.  That’s right, I have won another reading challenge.  Yet again they handed me one I could not resist.  From 1984 to The Stand and Beyond, dystopian futures are something I read a lot,  This was an easy one, and it still caught me off guard when the certificate showed up.

March was Magic, so we will see if that one is a winner too, not honestly sure what will happen there, but I can tell you that reading is a pleasure.  What are -you- reading right now?
