The core principles of the Constitution were direct responses to the fuckery of King George III and his cronies. Among other rights, we demanded freedom of speech, prohibition of unreasonable search and seizure, the right of habeas corpus, and the right to a jury before our peers. That really irked the monarchy. The current regime rejects all of those safeguards and extrajudicially disappears lawful resident Kilmar Abrego Garcia, sends him to a death camp in El Salvador, admits in court it was done by mistake, then tells the court that Garcia is now outside their jurisdiction and they can’t do anything about it. They asked the President of El Salvador to return Garcia, but he said he could not do that. Sure. Right after that, Stephen Miller gave an interview on the White House lawn and gloated on national TV that they beat the courts. Even for someone like John Roberts, the midwife of this Rosemary’s baby, that’s gotta hurt. But back to King George III, he fucked around and found out. Donald has fucked around, and he found out there is no response. Instead, the ugly remnants of the GOP soil themselves in fear of this McCarthyesque Orange Terror. Until the other two branches of government stand up on their hind legs crying “Have you no shame!” we will all be condemned to share this subterranean existence. And once more I ask those who voted for this monstrosity; who is next?
