I’ve had my Cadbury egg for the year, and that’s about all that I do for Easter.
As you can see by Itzl's concerned look, this group is for us to check in at to let people know we are alive, doing OK, and not affected by such things as heat, blizzards, floods, wild fires, hurricanes, tornadoes, power outages, or other such things that could keep us off DKos. It's also so we can find other Kossacks nearby for in-person checks when other methods of communication fail - a buddy system. Members come here to check in. If you're not here, or anywhere else on DKos, and there are adverse conditions in your area (floods, heatwaves, hurricanes, etc.), we and your buddy are going to check up on you. If you are going to be away from your computer for a day or a week, let us know here. We care!

My taxes for 2024 are done and paid. I have increased my deductions on the inheritance, so I will very likely get at least some money back next year. With any luck, I will be able to decrease them a bit for 2026.
I have to get my new insurance recorded in the different places I go. And get my PCP listed. I think the offspring have a scanner — I certainly don’t.
The offspring went to visit the family on Saturday (my sister’s birthday). I stayed home — the last several chiropractic appointments wiped me out and I had one on Saturday morning. It was rougher than the previous couple because I was thrashing around last night and managed to tweak something. Got home and NAP TIME!
