Ukraine struck a Russian factory in Tatarstan where Shahed drones are assembled. The site is more than 1,200 km from Ukraine.

Ukrainian drones have struck the Shahed production plant in Yelabuga, Tatarstan—over 1,200 km from Ukraine’s border. According to military sources, 5 out of 6 drones hit their target directly. Each UAV carried 400–420kg of payload, plus fuel.

This Ukrainian drone didn’t make it to the target.
Remember how talks on ending the war were supposed to start today in London?
Remember how Trump said a deal could be done in a week?
Well, Ukraine said its position on refusing to recognize Russian sovereignty over any of Ukraine, including Crimea, had not changed. Trump got pissed that Ukraine hasn’t capitulated to his demands and Marco Rubio withdrew from the talks. So then the Germans and French withdrew their foreign ministers. There was a meeting but it was with mostly lower-level security officials.

⚡️London talks suspended over 'lack of consensus on some issues,' Kremlin claims.
Russia continues to engage with the U.S. on a possible settlement of the war in Ukraine, but not with Kyiv and Europe, the Kremlin said.

Ukraine reiterated its position — which has never changed — that no territorial concessions to Russia will be recognized.

⚡️Ukraine is open to any format that leads to a ceasefire and real peace—but stopping the killings is task numer one, says Zelenskyi.
"Ukraine insists on a full, unconditional ceasefire. Peace can begin in silence—and the first sign of silence is the end of terror."

This isn’t a peace deal. It’s extortion.

US 7-point “peace plan” presented in London:
1 Crimea is 🇷🇺
2 End hostilities at front line
3 🇺🇸 lifts all sanctions against 🇷🇺
4 Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant will be transferred to 🇺🇸. 🇺🇸 begins energy cooperation with 🇷🇺
5 No sec guarantees from 🇺🇸
6 🇺🇦 will not join NATO
7 Minerals deal to be signed

Vance is a fucking idiot.
x
J.D. Vance stated that the U.S. expects territorial concessions from both Ukraine and Russia.
He urged both sides to disarm, freeze the situation, and work toward better futures.
And added that if the American peace proposal is not accepted, the U.S. will withdraw from the negotiations.

Trump will no doubt nominate a seasoned State Department veteran for this critical position.
Hahahahahahahaha. Just kidding
It’ll be yet another incompetent ass kisser.

More on the ammo dump outside of Moscow that went up in a huge fireball yesterday.
I have seen posts that claim the depot had a capacity of 240k tons of ammunition.
This post says 200k tons were destroyed. Yesterday the guesses were about 100k tons. We will likely never know the actual amount.

There are reports speculating that Russia is about to launch an offensive in Zaporizhzhia with the intent of reaching the border of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. The reports say Russia might then declare some sort of victory.
A Russian drone struck a bus full of people and killed nine.
The Russian army has a problem with corruption and desertion? Say it ain’t so!
x
1/ A former Wagner mercenary has spoken of his experiences fighting for the Russian army after joining it in 2023. He says that there is "corruption, drugs, alcohol all around" and most soldiers are prevented from going on leave because desertion is so common. ⬇️

4/ He says there is a big difference between the TV propaganda and reality at the front line. "On television they say one thing, that we occupied some village there. But we are sitting there in the same forest plantation and we don't understand at all who occupied whom."
5/ According to Mikhail, "There is corruption, drugs, alcohol all around. Any whim for your money, as they say. There is a lot of money circulating there. Fuel, diesel fuel, kerosene - it all costs money. The entire command is involved in this: they write it off for something.
6/ "The car doesn't work, it doesn't drive at all, but (according to the reports) it exists, it is assigned to the unit. And every day 50-60 liters of diesel fuel or gasoline are written off for it.
7/ "Considering that there are infantry fighting vehicles, tanks – the fuel consumption there is high, and a lot of money is written off for all this. And where it all goes – well, you don't need a lot of intelligence to guess."
8/ The soldiers are exhausted and fed up with the war, and the rate of desertions is so high that few are allowed to go on leave. "There are people who have been serving since 2022."
….
10/ "The percentage of those who do not return is already very high. And to monitor this... You see, someone has to monitor this. But even the military police are having a headache about this. So it is easier to just not let them (go home), no one."

This story indicates that the Russian cruiser Moskva, the flagship of the Black Sea fleet, was a floating pile of junk.
x
1/ Three years on from the sinking of the cruiser Moskva, a leaked report indicates that the warship was in a 'deplorable' condition when it left Sevastopol for the last time. Commentators suggest it may have had a radio-opaque paint incorrectly applied to its radars. ⬇️

2/ The video above shows the ship's departure from Sevastopol on 10 April 2022. Exactly two months earlier, on 10 February 2022, its captain Anton Valerievich Kuprin wrote a "Reference Report on the Status of the Guided Missile Cruiser 'Moskva'", which has been leaked.
3/ The report is among a set of materials on the ship and its sinking which has been collected by Dmitry Shkrebets, the father of one of the sailors who died on the Moskva, which was the flagship of the Russian Black Sea Fleet.
4/ He comments: "We can conclude that the ship's performance characteristics and systems were in a deplorable state, and not only could the Flagship not take part in the Special Military Operation with such problems, but even an ordinary exit to sea could be fraught with danger."
5/ Kuprin's report states that "The departments [on board the ship] were not prepared, they are dirty, not well maintained. The organization of carrying out special duty has not been worked out." Navigational equipment was either not working or only in limited use.
6/ The onboard S-300F Fort anti-aircraft missile system could not lock onto targets and had faulty components, as did the Korvet target designation system, which also had misaligned antennas. Similar faults affected many other weapons systems, incuding the ship's guns and torpedoes.
7/ While the MR-800 radar system was operating, it jammed the R-794-1 satellite communications system. The radiotechnical war unit had a long list of technical failures.
….
10/ After the ship was hit by two Ukrainian missiles and was evacuated, the crew found that only a few of the inflatable boats were in working order. Prepackaged personal breathing devices were found to be inoperable due to missing components.
This guy definitely has no more fucks to give.

Another 1,210 Russians who should have stayed home, plus 85 artillery systems.
Good riddance.
