As you can see by Itzl's concerned look, this group is for us to check in at to let people know we are alive, doing OK, and not affected by such things as heat, blizzards, floods, wild fires, hurricanes, tornadoes, power outages, or other such things that could keep us off DKos. If you're not here, or anywhere else on DKos, and there are adverse conditions in your area (floods, heatwaves, hurricanes, etc.), we are going to check up on you. If you are going to be away from your computer for a day or a week, let us know here. We care!

I am more than sure that by now you all know that I am a gamer geek. I spend most of my spare time, when I am not working on course work, or writing, playing one game or another. What you may or may not know is that for the majority of my life, games have meant my PC. Yes. I am a sucker for a good Pinball table. and I still have an Atari plug and play here somewhere, but for the most part, I play on the pc. and that is because my pc is far and away the easiest to make accessible.
However, it looks like that may be changing. Playstation is working hard to bring gaming to disabled gamers like me, with their Playstation Access Controller. With an easy to grip joystick controller, and oversized buttons that are easy to read, remap, and trigger, the Access Controller brings console gaming one step closer to being inclusive for all gamers.
Now, if it wasn’t close to three times the price of a controller for everyone else, that would make things even better! Still, progress is progress, even if it only comes in small steps.
