Russia attacked the city of Kryvyi Rih with a ballistic missile with cluster munitions that hit a restaurant and residential area, killing at least 14. This is just a couple days after another strike on the city that killed civilians.
It is no coincidence that Kryvyi Rih is Zelenskyy’s hometown. Russia has targeted hotels and restaurants there.
This city is in need of a Patriot battery.
This video is graphic in its grief. It shows a family grieving over the body of their dead teenager. So I haven’t embedded it.
This video is also graphic. It shows a woman holding a child’s hand.
Yet another Russian assault that ends up as scrap metal.
Ditto.

Ukraine is reported to have taken Nadiivka, a village on the western edge of Russia’s controlled area south of Pokrovsk.
The ISW also makes this overall assessment of the ever-changing situation south of Pokrovsk. Russia has been trying to regain the momentum in this area but other reports indicate that Ukrainian drones have been effective in blunting it.
Geolocated footage published on April 2 shows that Ukrainian forces recently advanced along Lenin Street in western Novoielyzavetivka (southwest of Pokrovsk) and captured Nadiivka (west of Novoielyzavetivka). Russian milbloggers claimed that Ukrainian troops advanced to the western outskirts of Solone (southwest of Pokrovsk).
ISW does not confirm the claim of a Russian milblogger who reported that units of the Russian 90th Tank Division had allegedly advanced to the center of Troitske and that Russian forces had captured Bohdanivka (both southwest of Pokrovsk). Another Russian milblogger claimed that Russian troops had advanced southwest of Kotliarivka (southwest of Pokrovsk).
ISW notes that Russian forces advanced northeast of Pokrovsk near Tarasivka, as well as east of Pokrovsk in the areas of Yelyzavetivka, Vodiane Druhe, and Promin. They also advanced south of Pokrovsk near Zelenyi and Vidrodzhennia (formerly Novyi Trud), and southwest of Pokrovsk near Udachne, Novoserhiivka, Nadiivka, Uspenivka, Kotlyne, Novoukrainka, Kotliarivka, Sukha Balka, Bohdanivka, and toward Muravka on April 2 and 3.
Behold Russia’s commitment to peace.
Another Highway of Death near Pokrovsk.
WARNING: Video shows dead Russians.
Ukraine isn’t quite finished in Kursk yet.
A Russian armored vehicle gets the worst of it from a Ukrainian tank in Toretsk.
I had always thought that Russians’ natural instinct while on fire was to run straight to the nearest pile of ammunition, but this guy managed to survive (sort of).
WARNING: Video shows Russian on fire.
The drone was waiting for them.
I’m going to call this a burka vehicle since it is completely covered.
But all that crap on the Russian armored vehicle didn’t protect it in the end.
I continue to be amazed by the irony of a drone taking out a mobile EW system.
Russia targets its own “school kids.”
x
Russians eliminating their own – new intel confirms. Ukraine’s 63rd Brigade intercepted Russian comms, revealing plans to execute retreating assault troops during their offensive near Lyman.
"If the schoolkids (likely inexperienced troops) move somewhere, they will be taken out by drones."

The extortion will continue until morale improves.

Meanwhile, Russian military units persist in terrorizing their own people while cashing in. A video shows a serviceman’s mother revealing that someone, likely from her son’s unit, is extorting her for 300,000 rubles, threatening that her son will “vanish” if she doesn’t pay.

The war is over for these TikTok warriors.
Ukraine targets Lipetsk and Moscow.
x
Overnight drones struck Russia’s Lipetsk and Moscow regions. In Lipetsk, around 20 explosions were reported, possibly targeting a steel plant or military airfield. In Moscow, drone debris shattered windows, while airports were shut down under "Carpet" mode. Explosions were also reported in Serpukhov

NATO’s Supreme Commander in Europe, Christopher Cavoli, states it's hard to imagine a major Ukrainian counteroffensive reclaiming every inch of land, but equally hard to imagine Ukraine losing the conflict. Ukraine's defeat is not inevitable.

Has he accidentally fallen out of a window yet?
Russia’s economy is almost as fucked as ours.
Ukraine punks Russia once again. I get the feeling that if you sent a Russian an email purporting to be from a Nigerian prince, he would gladly give you all his bank account info.

🐝💻 Ukrainian drones are now being used to conduct minor cyber operations against Russia, - Forbes
According to Russian video, the variants of malware on the Ukrainian drones are "burning out the USB port, preventing reflashing, or hijacking the repurposed FPV and revealing the operator location."

I like this euphemism — profitably going into negative territory. Sounds a lot nicer than taking the express train to Chapter 11 City.

‼️ Russia: “Coal export profitability to the east has gone into negative territory”
“According to NEFT Research, the netback on Kuzbass coal (5,500 kcal/kg) fell to -358 rubles/t by March 30, having decreased by 17.8% over the week.”

Maybe the reason Russian women have lost interest in sex is Russian men.
x
Russian Media:
“Our age-mates are much less interested in sex than the generations of their older sisters, mothers and grandmothers”
They’re really putting a lot of effort into try to get the young people to procreate.
Some of this is insane…

Another 1,380 Russians gone — except for the ones who will be given crutches and wheelchairs and sent back to the front.
I agree with this. Putin crossed the Rubicon, so to speak. Anything short of a victory will be a humiliation and that will not be tolerated by Russians accustomed to thinking their culture and might is superior.
Helping Dad.
