The man who wanted to pick a fight with the Teamsters President last year just put out two X posts to condone violence.
Bernie stopped the fight.
The last one was Sunday, making note of a local newspaper's criticism of his video suggesting violence against reporters from fake news organizations.
The two minute video on X recounts a story of a Congressman named Taulbee and a reporter named Kincaid and how Taulbee met a bad end in 1890 by getting shot in the face by Kincaid.
"There's a lot we can say about reporters and the stories they write, but I bet they would write a lot less, Um false stories as President Trump says, fake news, if we could still handle our differences that way."
Mullins played the tough guy against the Teamsters President, but he wasn't all that brave on January 6, 2021.
You can see him cowering behind the House of Representatives' chairs as security is ready with guns drawn to handle rioters. This was shortly before Ashli Babbitt was shot by the Capitol Police officer closest to the bottom. Mullin was a Representative at the time. He's a Senator from Oklahoma now.
Being a Senator has not improved Mullin's thinking or actions. He still is a bully. But Mullin made up with Teamsters President Sean O'Brien because of their support for Trump's nominee for Secretary of Labor, Lori Chavez DeRemer. She bended the knee to Trump and disclaimed everything she ever said that was pro-labor. Why O'Brien thought this was good is unknown.
A Senator who claims that reporters who report correctly about Trump's actions as being fake news is one thing. Suggesting that the murder of reporters is deserved, is not.
We go high and they go lower than imaginable. If he had said this in the Senate, he would be censured. Because it's on social media it will be glossed over. That's the world we're in.
