JD Vance Lectures Germany on 'Democracy'

Oh this is rich. Vice President JD Vance, who boasted that he would not have certified the fair and democratic presidential 2020 election if he had been in Mike Pence’s position, is now teaching the Germans about the fundamentals of Democracy. 

The AfD is the most popular party in Germany, and by far the most representative of East Germany. Now the bureaucrats try to destroy it.

The AfD (Alternative fuer Deutschland) is a far right party that mirrors MAGA in many respects:

Germany’s domestic intelligence agency labeled the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party as a “proven right-wing extremist organization.” The party’s platform is based on anti-immigrant ideology. Several AfD leaders have repeated Nazi slogans and threatened to deport German citizens of non-ethnic-German heritage.

The German agency that classified AfD as extremist spent three years investigating the party and released a 1,000-page report that confirmed the party’s violations of core constitutional principles.

AfD leaders have trivialized the Holocaust, revived Nazi slogans, and condemned foreigners. A quarter of the electorate currently supports the party, although German lawmakers have considered banning the party altogether.

The ideological leader of the AfD is a Stephen Miller-like xenophobe whom the courts have labeled a true fascist.

Germany has already experienced what happens when authoritarianism takes hold in large swaths  of the population — like it has now in the United States — and will do everything it can to block the AfD from increasing its power.

The last thing Germans will do is to heed advice from JD Vance and Marco Rubio.
