I had to search for news about May Day Protests. Should have been everywhere. wasn't.
I googled, anticipating, a news page full of articles. Since Thursday, May 1st, I’ve seen, maybe, ten stories, about the nationwide protests, (filled with moving image ads, so distracting).
No surprise to me, that major news outlets pretty much ignored the protests with minimum reporting about them. I saw local news stations with some attention to the protests. Youtube has been the most news I’ve found, and I had to search for it.

She started working part time running errands for seamstresses, in the neighborhood, when she was 7 yrs old. True.
First generation Irish American. Her Father worked on the railroad, unloading boxcars. He and his fellow workers, sweltered in the summer and froze in the winter! Her words.
BTW My parents, my Mother especially, were the biggest “enablers” in the world. She taught me from my youngest days, “that I didn’t have to take any bull, from anyone.” To grow up to be, a strong independent woman. And that “the Ideal,” my goal, to be, more outrageous, than my Father. So I am.
