Trump usually tries to call the cable channel MSDNC, instead of MSNBC, as an insult. Not this morning.
Trump is probably railing at them after Lawrence O'Donnell lambasted Trump last night over his tariffs. How Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent couldn't even answer the simple question of who pays tariffs, instead making a word salad about how it was complicated.
Lawrence called Trump an "illiterate clown" and "a rogue president violating American law on tariffs." The clown community was once again upset at being compared to Trump. /s
"MSNBC, the worst there is in Television misrepresentation..."
If they are the "worst," that means they don't misrepresent. Should be the "best," but it just doesn't sound right that way.
"... so far knowingly off in their statements about me and Tariffs that it should be considered a Major Campaign Violation."
This is the one that threw me off. What campaign? Trump is never going to run for president again, at least that was his last comment on the subject, and he'll never run for a lesser office. So what is he talking about? He must think it's still 2024.
"They [MSNBC] are nothing less than an arm of the Democrat National Committee, and their untruths are incredible, real losers."
The Loser-in-Chief tries to throw stones. I'm sure MSNBC could always use additional revenue by being paid by the DNC. So far, no luck.
"Their ratings are down the tubes, but that pressure on them doesn't give them the right to lie and cheat!"
So lying and cheating gets their ratings up? I'm sorry, but isn't that what Fox News, Newsmax and OAN do every single second on the air?
Lawrence had a lot more to say about Trump, and that in effect, he was too old and too weak to do his job. Trump said in the Oval Office, pointing to the phone on his desk, that there were only so many times that he could pick it up during the day.
O'Donnell called my most hated cabinet official, Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick, a "rodeo clown." He's Jewish, but he laughed the loudest as Trump once again called Chuck Schumer, a Palestinian. "He is the court jester."
Back to Trump, "We know the man's brain is broken and full of poison. He always has been. He is a hateful hunk of stupidity and bigotry sitting in that chair."
The question Lawrence had for Howard Lutnick was, "Have you no decency?"
Lawrence O'Donnell last night on MSNBC.
"Have you no decency?" was what a Senator asked Joe McCarthy in Senate hearings about getting rid of communism in the government and the entertainment industry in the 1950s.
When it comes to all the people that Donald Trump has put in positions of power, we will hear that phrase many times again.
When it comes to Donald Trump, it isn't a question anymore, he has always been indecent. And that's why he attacked MSNBC this morning. Because Donald Trump is weak and old and an illiterate clown.
