Well, it’s Tuesday. And this week, Wednesday is our last live show for a couple days.

But I’m working hard to get some new material prepared to keep you company. Like if you have to live in an underground bunker while Trump pulls a Red Dawn on your town. Or a Blue Dawn, I guess.

I just feel that you should have some company while you’re waiting. But it makes for a very hectic and disorienting week. It’s Tuesday, but I feel like I’ve done 7 shows already this week!

Today’s countdown numbers:

• 4 days until the next nationwide protest… and Trump’s crazy dictator parade!
• 113 days until the “legal” funding for what’s left of the US government runs out… again!
• 1,320 days remaining in Trump’s legal term of office
• 511 days until the midterm elections, if we have them
• 572 days—if we have those elections—until we seat a new Congress

Our new random country generator says, today’s an unlucky day for: oh no, it’s Canada.

I don’t know whether this is the day we hit bingo, or what. But if we do, remember one thing: “It’s a distraction!”

(I also don’t know if it’s really a distraction. But it’s very much the fashion to say that things are a distraction, these days.)
