Trump has still not directly responded to Newsom's Tuesday speech. But he continues to attack Newsom and raging against immigrants. Two new posts.
"The Biden Administration and Governor Newscum flooded America with 21 Million Illegal Aliens..."
The 21 million figure was 51 million once. There were 11 million border encounters in Biden's term, but then it gets complicated with how many were turned away, how many were applying for asylum and were paroled into the United States, and other stages of applying for entry. But 21 million people did not come in.
"... destroying Schools, Hospitals and Communities, and consuming untold Billions of Dollars in Free Welfare."
The "destroying" part is about as accurate as his stories about the guy hammering curbs and streets to get pieces of concrete and granite, with people lined up to get the pieces.
Undocumented aliens do not get unemployment insurance. They pay taxes, they pay social security and don't get anything for those payments. We get them.
"All of them have to go home. as well as countless other Illegals and Criminals, who turn us into a bankrupt Third World Nation."
Wait a minute, if there are already 21 million illegals, how many of the countless others are there? Bankrupting the nation is not reality. They actually put money into the treasury. And Trump keeps insulting third world nations, like they have no importance whatsoever.
"America was invaded and occupied. I am reversing the Invasion. It's called Remigration."
Omigod. Remigration is a far right European concept of ethnic cleansing. Trump has gone full-blown Nazi as far as anyone can go. Is it possible he did not know what the term meant? That he thought it was just the opposite of immigration? No. The term has been spread far and wide on X and Telegram. Did Stephen Miller put the term in Trump's brain? Likely, but there would be no excuse for using it. I think Trump used it deliberately. Read up on it yourself.
Newsom went on live on TV after the decision returning control of the National Guard to him on Friday. In talking about the phone call he did have with Trump last Friday, Trump never talked about the National Guard, but what Trump said, Newsom said would put chills down your spine.
"The indiscriminate cruelty of Donald Trump." Newsom told stories about ICE incidents. "He creates a problem, and then he's the hero in his own Marvel movie."
Newsom posted on X his take on the decision.
Trump is appealing the decision to the 9th Circuit. The Marines aren't in L.A. yet, so Judge Charles Breyer didn't rule on it. The Trump administration has made it clear that they won't obey lower court rulings, only the Supreme Court. But they have ignored the Supreme Court, too.
"Our courageous ICE Officers, who are daily being subjected to doxxing and murder threats, are HEROES."
Courageous I'll just skip over. But every ICE agent is always masked. Nobody knows who they are. In order to doxx somebody or make death threats, you have to be able to identify them. Heroes goes right with courageous. Impossible to apply to ICE.
"America will be for Americans again!"
It already is. Migrants are a big part of how America works.
Trump had to do another post to show how far he's gone.
"Incompetent Gavin Newscum should have been THANKING me for the job we did in Los Angeles..."
Me, me, me, me, me. He going to wait a long time for those thanks, just like he's still waiting for that full-throated apology from Maine's Gov. Janet Mills.
"... rather than making sad excuses for the poor job he has done."
I haven't heard any excuses. Governor Newsom has nothing to make excuses about.
"If it weren't for me getting the National Guard into Los Angeles, it would be burning down to the ground right now!"
That's ridiculous hyperbole. Los Angeles is so spread out, it's just not possible.
The 9th US Circuit Court of Appeals granted the government it's request for a stay just hours after Judge Breyer's decision. This habit of giving deference to the government needs to end. Breyer's 36 page decision should have been the end of the matter, but the 3 Judge panel, comprised of two Trump and one Biden appointee granted the administrative stay.
Trump was estatic, of course, and repititious.
"The Appeals Court ruled last night that I can use the National Guard to keep our cities, in this case Los Angeles, safe."
The court didn't rule anything of the sort. They merely granted a stay. Breyer ruled that Trump did not meet the criteria for using 10 U.S.C § 12406. Trump called up the National Guard improperly, not necessarily illegally. He's taking the case one step at a time. Now the Appeals Court will hear the case with a full court with 11 judges randomly picked of the 29 judges available.
This is how well Trump is taking care of the National Guard in LA. Not even a cot.
The problem is that now the National Guard stay in place until the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals hears and decides the case. No time frame predictable. Instead of the normal 3 months to a year, California must push for an expedited ruling.
Newsom won, but Trump hasn't lost. Courts take time.
I hope mainstream media pick up on Trump's use of "Remigration." I'm not holding my breath.
