Ya know, all I wanted to do was enjoy my retirement years, do some traveling, and have some fun until I check out of this hotel for good. But nooooooo … the fucking fascists had to come along and ruin everything for everyone.
So like many of us I had to go to the “No Kings” protest. We Americans rejected that whole “monarchy” thing wayyyy back in 1775. “Democracy” is worth defending, and what the hell, I might as well add another page or two to my FBI file. And it’s been a heck of a long time since I’ve been tear-gassed …
Anyway, the rally went great. It was spread out over several intersections and three blocks, so it’s hard to estimate the size (since I could not see it all at once), but I would roughly guesstimate around 6-7,000 people. Only two Trumpite goobers showed up that I saw, and they left pretty quickly. I presume the rest were at home watching their hero’s Red Square parade on TV.
There were only a few cops visible, and they were mostly just shooing people off the local mall’s parking lot. There was also a Sheriff helicopter circling overhead.
Some photos from the protest.
No kings! No billionaires! No military state!

This goober got mouthy but didn’t start any trouble
This goober retreated quickly once he saw the size of the crowd (and noticed that he was alone)
