A big welcome to all of you who are new to this series, which I publish Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
This series is born out of frustration with seeing people on social media and this site say, “Where are the Dems?” or “What are the Dems doing?” This is not meant as an exhaustive list, but merely as a highlight of the types of the activities and statements they’re doing and making.
Please, before you complain about the party, take a few minutes of time to see if your concerns are being addressed. Also, if you’re only interested in complaining you may feel more comfortable commenting in the diaries that are designed for complaining.
Please support the following Daily Kos authors. Follow the Democratic Party Spotlight Group here to find these stories easily in your Stream (DK Inbox for diaries).
- Dems, Dems, and More Dems, Sundays, Tuesdays, at 9 a.m. ET, Thursdays at 12:30 a.m. ET, by Janesaunt.
- Congressional Black Caucus, Thursdays at 9 a.m. ET, by lpeacock.
- Rainbow Roundup: LGBTQ lawmakers and journalists, Saturdays, by T2.
- Hispanic Elected Democrats, Sundays at 8 a.m. ET, by bilboteach.
- Still Think Democrats Aren’t Fighting Back? Mondays and Fridays, by dfh1.

Big day today – another major legal win in federal court, this time prohibiting mass layoffs by Marco Rubio at the State Department
We @democracydefendersaction.org are proud to be a part of the coalition of incredible lawyers, labor unions & nonprofit groups litigating this case

I encourage everyone to head over to YouTube and search The Daily Blueprint and watch an entire episode. They move along quickly in the 10-15 minutes they broadcast.

Chair Ken Martin and @Democrats.
This week I’ve focused the posts on the escalation of attacks on elected Democrats, the assassination and attempted assassination of the Minnesota lawmakers, and the continued attacks on Democrats.
Democrats doing Democratic things…

It was sickening to see United States Senator Mike Lee use the tragedy in Minnesota to take cheap political shots, risk escalating a dangerous moment, fan the flames of division with lies while the killer was still on the loose
He needs to take his posts down and apologize to the victims’ families

Tonight, I'll go home and sleep in my bed. I have a lawyer, I'll get due process.
But Edgardo, whose arm was ripped from mine by ICE agents, has none of those things.
That's why I'll keep coming back to court, week after week, to make sure that people's rights are protected.

Mass deportations that target workers, women, and children over violent criminals aren’t just cruel, they’re bad for our economy. Even President Trump has admitted this, pointing to the harm it does to industries like agriculture and hospitality—causing prices to go up for everyone.

If Rep. Young Kim (R) won’t speak with her constituents, I will.
Join me this Thursday in CA-40 for an in-person Town Hall where we’ll talk Trump’s authoritarianism, GOP budget cuts to healthcare and education, and Young Kim’s deafening silence. Sign up here:

Thank you to the 4,533 Angelenos who joined my Tele Town Hall tonight.
From lawless ICE raids to protecting Medicaid & Social Security, we discussed how to defend our working families.
We might not agree on everything, but 1 thing’s clear: we must stop Trump & the billionaire establishment in DC.
