While recently claiming some morsel of sympathy/regret for “our very aggressive policy on immigration policy” — “taking very good, long time workers away from” — “Farmers and people in the Hotel and Leisure business” ...
It seems that Trump’s convenient ‘change of heart’ was really merely just a change of zip-codes, for his quota-driven human-round-ups “Program” …
Making false claims about illegal voting by noncitizens, President Donald Trump ordered Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to target the “core of the Democrat Power Center.”
[...]
“These, and other such cities, are the core of the Democrat Power Center, where they use Illegal Aliens to expand their Voter Base, cheat in Elections, and grow the Welfare State, robbing good paying Jobs and Benefits from Hardworking American Citizens,” Trump claimed.
Illegal voting by noncitizens — and fraud in general — is extremely rare in U.S. elections.

Trump did not specify whether businesses in Democratic-led cities would be spared, saying instead that ICE agents must “do all in their power to achieve the very important goal of delivering the single largest Mass Deportation Program in History.”
Never mind the fact, that the “Mass Deportation CEO” makes use of these “very good, long time workers” himself — at his own business establishments.
But don’t expect ICE to be targeting Trump Inc, anytime soon — that would make for some photo-opps that no one in Trumpland wants to see ...

Trump’s businesses, including the Mar-a-Lago Club, some of his golf courses and a Virginia winery, have collectively increased their reliance on temporary foreign laborers over the years.
Just this year, Trump’s businesses received approval from the US government to hire 209 foreign workers, nearly double the number of such laborers his companies received permission to hire about a decade ago.
The workers include cooks, housekeepers, servers and desk clerks.
Trump has said the seasonal nature of some of his clubs necessitates some temporary jobs that Americans looking for full-time work are reluctant to take. Forbes first reported on Friday Trump’s businesses hired more foreign workers than ever in 2024.

I wonder how the “foreign labor” Bossman at Mar-a-Lago feels about — this guy giving ICE their “marching orders”? Over-riding his own rare moments of tolerance ...
Beware: When “free speech” causes you to lose your job.
It seems their Prime Minister of Hate Miller, had to threatened ICE officers to “step up their game” — because all those “invading caravans” have dwindled to just a seasonal trickle.
And they can’t be seen as lagging behind Biden and Obama deportation numbers.
Thus the urgent memo:

In a tense meeting last week, top Trump aide Stephen Miller and Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem demanded that immigration agents seek to arrest 3,000 people a day, according to two sources familiar with the meeting.
[...]
• Miller's directive and tone had people leaving the meeting feeling their jobs could be in jeopardy if the new targets aren't reached, two of the sources said. A third person said Miller was trying to motivate people with a harsh tone.
[...]
• Border-area deportations are lower because fewer migrants are attempting to cross into the U.S., while ICE's removals from the country's interior have increased, according to an analysis by the Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse (TRAC), an independent organization.
To help ramp up deportations, Capitol Hill Republicans are working on providing an extra $147 billion in immigration funds over the next 10 years — part of the Trump-backed "big beautiful bill" that passed the House last week.
[...]
How long before next phase of Miller’s plan — paid bounty hunters — are contracted to boost those head-count numbers. All on the nation’s dime. Given the garb of the “masked enforcers” — how would we know, whether or not the $1500 bounty is already in place?
Something is motivating this thuggery — to go after the law-abiding workers. Beside hate there’s always the bump in pay, to stir-up so much lawlessness. Miller and his “general” Holman have likely already field-tested such contracts. No Inspectors General or independent DOJ to stop them anymore, afterall.

Let’s not forget, that the extra-ordinary tactics of the “largest Mass Deportation Program in History” is implicitly and explicitly ignoring the expressed directions of the Supreme Court — regarding “due process,” habeas corpus, and “granting opportunity to challenge” their summarily, and oft-time illegal incarceration and subsequent removals.
[...]
The Supreme Court also ruled last month that anyone detained under the Alien Enemies Act of 1798 must be given a chance to seek habeas relief -- or, to challenge their detention -- "within a reasonable time and in such a manner as will allow them to … before removal occurs."
Similarly, immigrants that the U.S. plans to deport to third countries -- rather than their home countries -- must be given a "meaningful opportunity" to raise concerns about their safety, including at least 15 days to reopen their immigration proceedings, U.S. District Court Judge Brian Murphy, a Trump appointee, ruled last month.
The administration revealed last month in a federal district court filing that it was providing detainees a one-page form in English that informed them of a right to make a phone call and that they had "no less than 12 hours" to "express an intent" to challenge their detention by asking for a hearing. The ACLU says that's far too unreasonable a timeline.

If seems that the Supremes have their work cut out for them, in somehow “being a ‘check and balance’” — on the Unitary Nightmare that they’ve summarily created … “one for the ages,” as Gorsuch put it.
Think about it Chief Roberts, they’ll never “deport a million people a year” by actually following the Law, and upholding the rights of those vital “very good seasonal workers.” By you know, actually going after “the worst of the worst” whom Trump railed against — during his endless hate-filled campaign rallies.
Funny how they have yet to find any those ‘evil immigrants’ — with “dogs and cats on the menu” — now isn’t it? Convenient foils, without any evidence — as per Team Trump’s SOP:
Stir up the hate — and their alliance will follow.
MAGA — Listen up: “Hate will not make us Great.”
Read the room … rile-up their anger … punch up those cortisol levels.
All the while instilling fear and loathing in those “very good, long time workers,” — merely in search of that “American Dream.” Doing the jobs that most Americans disdain, just to make a honest buck.
Miller and company will be sure to extinguish that hope too, as they target that next Home Depot, that next strawberry farm, that next restaurant kitchen ... in a Blue City near you.
Afterall, in their arbitrary, unattainable “quota program” — Cruelty and spectacle are the point.
Not justice, not liberty. To hell with “your huddled masses yearning to breathe free ...”
In their America, that Dream IS their ultimate target.
Afterall, it’s the American Dream is what they despise the most … you know, "Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness" — “with liberty and justice for all.”
Those uniquely American ideals are the real targets of their rage — the means that justify empower their lawless, quota-driven ends.
