Donald Trump has done it again. When faced with making a difficult decision or actually doing something, he postpones, TACOs, and kicks it two weeks down the road. In his first term, Trump had a replacement for Obama care in two weeks. Infrastructure was two weeks away. He wasn't stupid enough to say this about the Ukraine war, he just had a flunkie say it would get done in the first 100 days. He was stupid enough to say that he would have Ukraine settled in 24 hours during the campaign, he would have it done as soon as he was elected, then before he took office, then as soon as he took office. This time his two weeks excuse is about Iran.
After having embarrassed himself demanding an unconditional surrender, without specifying to whom, he wants to give Iran time to roll over and give up all nuclear programs.
His statement read by Karoline Leavitt said, "Based on the fact that there's a substantial chance of negotiations that may or may not take place with Iran in the near future, I will make my decision whether or not to go within the next two weeks."
Go where? Go what? May or may not. This is one of the most ridiculous statements ever. That's why he had Leavitt read it. Is the "go" for joining the war with Israel?
Iran made the mistake of hitting the Soroka Hospital in Beersheba. Every Israeli leader is vowing retribution.
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz called it a war crime and said Khamenei "cannot continue to exist." It sounds like they've got their excuse to assassinate Khamenei regardless of what Trump thinks. Trump said in a tweet that he knew where Khamenei was and said we wouldn't off him just yet. Khamenei didn't respond directly to that, but he called the surrender demand ridiculous. We probably have Khamenei being watched by a satellite that can read the Bible inscribed on a pinhead. The Israelis have on the ground intelligence, the Mossad, and our intelligence.
Khamenei went on state TV on Wednesday and said Iran would resist an "imposed war" as well as an "imposed peace." The war is already happening, so I'm not sure what he meant. The "imposed peace" would be a surrender.
The IDF released two pictures of military equipment being unloaded from planes, joining 14 others that have arrived since the start of the attack on Iran. No information as to the materials, source, or what type of plane with markings. They bear all the signs of AI generation with out of focus blotches and weird lighting on the plane. Why did the IDF do that? You're guess is as good as mine.

F-22 fighter jets have been spotted at U.K. airfields. Only flown by the USAF, they must have gotten there with the refueling tankers, with everything headed to the Middle East.
It's two weeks Trump has given to Iran to do what? In the meantime, U.S. naval and air forces are converging to the Middle East. The Iranian navy is anchored outside of the port of Bandar Abbas. Israel hasn't attacked them. Israel has more advanced ships and bigger submarines, but Iran has more total ships.
Iran has (had) 551 jet fighters, but Israel has 612 jets including F-35s. Israel says they have control of the skies, so what happened to all those Iranian planes?
An article here describes a possibilty of Israeli C-130s dropping that GRU-57 bunker buster bomb out of the back of one, but with the kinetic speed of 250 mph instead of out of a B-2 at 50,000 feet hitting at 500 mph.
Trump has now decided to play a waiting game while the Israelis continue daily attacks and deal with the Iranian drones, rockets and missiles.
He TACO'ed today. Now he's got two weeks to completely TACO.
