Ozymandias redux

I met a traveler from an antique land...

I am not at all a skilled artist but this one grabbed my head and hand week or so ago. I offer this with a nod to someone else’s earlier posting, ‘Percy Bysshe Shelley Meets Trump.” I put this drawing up as a comment on that post, and the post disappeared a couple hours later, so for all intents and purposes, this is a new effort.

To the English Poetry nerds out there, don’t waste your time critiquing the parts that I did not illustrate in a literal manner. I didn’t wanna. Do your own drawing, Please don’t post 25-verse English Romantic poems in the comments — I believe that’s what killed that earlier post which was actually pretty good. Do post links to them if you think we need them, which very well may be true.

Pride goeth before a fall, after all. If you’re really smarter than everyone else, don’t shout it too loud. It will be fun to watch you fall down if you do.
