Gavin Newsom To Tom Homan: "Arrest Me, Tough Guy."

Gavin to Tom Homan- "Eat me", in so many words.

Maybe you didn’t see the MSNBC interview with Gavin Newsom a few hours ago where he laid into Trump, ICE, and Tom Homan.  He made it clear that he’s been civil with Trump in the past, and just Friday night he had a 20 minute phone call with Trump where Trump didn’t touch the subject of ICE or the National Guard at all.

In response to ICE head Tom Homan’s “threat” to arrest local officials who get in ICE’s way, Newsom said this-

Newsom: "Arrest me. Let's just get it over with, tough guy. I don't give a damn ... Tom, arrest me. Let's go."

The whole interview is worth watching.  Newsom lays into all of it without just making it an attack on Trump.  This is the response that Democrats have been waiting for.  Others have been strong as well- AOC, Jasmine Crockett- but this message at this moment is on point.
