Well, it’s Monday. So it’s time for Greg Dworkin and I to round up another wild weekend.

This one, though, didn’t seem so much about Trump saying crazy things as about Stephen Miller making Trump (at least appear to) say crazy things

But should we even tell you what happened? For one thing, you likely already know. I don’t know how you could have missed it. For another, some pundit or another will be along soon enough to tell us it was all a distraction from something else, anyway.

Today’s countdown numbers:

• 5 days until the next nationwide protest… and Trump’s crazy dictator parade!
• 114 days until the “legal” funding for what’s left of the US government runs out… again!
• 1,321 days remaining in Trump’s legal term of office
• 512 days until the midterm elections, if we have them
• 573 days—if we have those elections—until we seat a new Congress

Our new random country generator says, today’s an unlucky day for: Myanmar!

I’m not convinced that Donald Trump knows about this country, though he likely does know about Burma Shave. Well… hmm. Maybe not. He’s not really even that much of a reader.

Anyway, he almost certainly has no idea what or where Myanmar is, although if you told him what Wikipedia says about them—that they’re “a country in northwest Southeast Asia”—he wouldn’t believe that’s even a possible thing.

Though he may think that’s where the other Donald—Rumsfeld, that is—said Iraq’s WMD might be.

Ha ha! Oh, well. That’s Our Trump!™
