To those disgusted with CBS over Stephen Colbert’s firing, here is a CBS feedback page where you can express your opinion:
www.cbs.com/…
I sent them my opinion:
Dear CBS,
Your cancellation of the Colbert late night show is an act of cowardice that I will not forget.
I will watch closely who advertises on your network and let them know that I will be boycotting and avoiding their products since by advertising with you, they are supporting a corrupt network.
Your actions will not be ignored. They will not be forgotten.
You will lose economically in the long run because of your disrespect for free speech and your cowardice by avoiding confronting raw Presidential power and threats.
As an example of my commitment:
The environmental disaster of the Exxon Valdez oil spill in 1989 showed Exxon’s extreme disregard for Alaska and its pristine environment. I still refuse to buy gas at Exxon gas stations after 35 years.
As I said, I will not forget.
We should note that CBS claims that canceling the Late Show was a “financial decision.” But apparently offering $16M to the President to settle a meritless lawsuit was also a business decision.
We must wonder who is running CBS’s business when they are essentially donating large sums of money to the President while claiming they want to save money by canceling the Late Show.
