A report published Friday confirms a major food crisis, with more than 500,000 Gazans already facing famine. This situation is the result of prolonged periods of blockade. The Israeli government disputes these accusations and Benjamin Netanyahu dismisses them as antisemitic prejudice.

- The second line of response highlighted a "policy of starvation" allegedly "orchestrated" by Hamas, in the words of Netanyahu on Friday. The prime minister has often repeated that his country is now at war on multiple fronts – against Hamas, Hezbollah, Iran, Syria, the Houthi rebels of Yemen, and the West Bank – along with the front of information warfare.
- For several weeks, the idea of a "policy of starvation" by Hamas has been widely repised in the Israeli media. Research centers close to the government or the military have repeated it. On Wednesday, August 20, the Meir Amit Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center noted in its weekly analysis of the situation in the occupied territories that "Hamas continues to spread its 'hunger' propaganda."

This is where antisemitism enters the picture. In response to the domino effect of countries recognizing a Palestinian state, Netanyahu sent furious letters this week to French President Emmanuel Macron and Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese.
He accused Albanese of not knowing how to deal with what he said was "a campaign of intimidation, vandalism and violence against Jews" that in Australia "has intensified under your watch." He accused Macron of pouring "fuel on this antisemitic fire." What manipulations, Oh la la.
Netanyahu seeks to identify every protest against Israel with antisemitism. In his letter to Macron, he noted that El Al's offices in Paris were spray-painted with the slogans "El Al genocide airline" and "Free Palestine." This was a political protest aimed directly at the national carrier of a country whose actions in the Gaza Strip are being called genocide around the world.
So we are not really the target; the targets are the Israelis themselves.
I have always said that this devious piece of shit would survive the terrorist attack and the subsequent years of war.
