UPDATED: Title was updated from “Russia Bombed British government building” to “Russia bombed British Council Building in Kyiv” (thanks to comment from So so thirsty” on aug 31) . The difference being that the British Council is a charity that promotes language and culture, not part of the government.

I don't know why this doesn't make the news in the U.S. or why this doesn’t cause more of a reaction in Europe. I learned about this from a young reporter in Kyiv, Caolan Robertson who I follow on YouTube.
Russia bombed a British Council building and an E.U. building in Kyiv on Aug 28 (or 27th?).
Watch Robertson's video here. According to Robertson, the Russians know this is a British building.
(I also found this article in The Guardian: www.theguardian.com/...
https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2025/aug/28/uk-summons-russian-ambassador-over-british-council-missile-damage-in-kyiv )
It’s pretty alarming that Putin can attack a U.S. company building, British and E.U. buildings with impunity. Our president literally rolled out a red carpet for him.
I guess I’ll make more calls and write more letters to Congress, but geeze, what will it take for Trump sychophants to say this is unacceptable?
By the way, Caolan Robertson lives in Kyiv, and has been doing some fine and courageous reporting about Russia’s aggression. You can follow him on YouTube. Another young YouTuber Luke Beasley, an American, has been visiting with Robertson in Ukraine and also witnessed the cruise missiles hitting the city. ILuvReading did a DKos story about Beasley on Aug 28 entitled Now THIS is Journalism.
