Note: I use a ‘theme’ for my diaries, in an attempt to keep my writings on a cohesive path while I compose the diaries. It is also fun to see comments that fit within that theme. However, here in MOTland, all topics are welcome, it is an open thread. There are no demerits for being so-called ‘off-topic’. Thanks!

"Primrose Lane" is a song made famous by country music singer Jerry Wallace. Originally released in 1959, the song rose to number 8 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song was ranked #47 on Billboard magazine's Top Hot 100 songs of 1950.
In the song, the singer appears to be serenading his love as they stroll down the street and claiming "life's a holiday" with her.

"The Naughty Lady of Shady Lane" is a popular song written by Sid Tepper and Roy C. Bennett.
The lyrics suggest that this "naughty lady" driving the whole town crazy is an attractive young woman who "throws those come-hither glances at every Tom, Dick and Joe" and "when offered some liquid refreshment never says no"; but the last line reveals her to be an infant "nine days old".
The Ames Brothers recorded the song on September 8, 1954. It first reached the Billboard magazine charts on November 20, 1954.

"Penny Lane" is a song by the English rock band The Beatles that written primarily by Paul McCartney. The lyrics refer to Penny Lane, a street in Liverpool, and make mention of the sights and characters that McCartney recalled from his upbringing in the city.
Penny Lane is a road in the south Liverpool suburb of Mossley Hill. The name also applies to the area surrounding its junction with Smithdown Road and Allerton Road, and to the roundabout at Smithdown Place that was the location for a major bus terminus, The roundabout was a frequent stopping place for John Lennon, Paul McCartney, and George Harrison during their years as schoolchildren and students. In 2009, McCartney reflected:
"Penny Lane" was kind of nostalgic, but it was really [about] a place that John and I knew ... I'd get a bus to his house and I'd have to change at Penny Lane, or the same with him to me, so we often hung out at that terminus, like a roundabout. It was a place that we both knew, and so we both knew the things that turned up in the story.
