Andrew Kolvet's Twitter bio describes him as "Christian. Proud husband and father. TPUSA Spokesman. Executive Producer of The Charlie Kirk Show. Son of Nevada. American." Based on this self-assessment, the reader should greet any claim he makes about Charlie Kirk with healthy skepticism. Bearing that in mind, let's look at one claim he did make.
In a Saturday tweet, Kolvet theorized on the lack of an exit wound in Kirk's corpse. In his words:
"in this case, the fact that there wasn't an exit wound is probably another miracle."
I don't know what the other miracles are. Kolvet probably tweeted about them previously. But I can only dive so deep in a sewer.
Kolvet then identified the source of his information.
"I just spoke with the surgeon who worked on Charlie in the hospital…"
My instinct is to call bullshit. HIPAA binds medical personnel to keep patient records private — even dead patients. However, I can't say for sure that "the surgeon" didn't blab. He might be a MAGA. And those guys don't like rules. So I'll play along.
Kolvet elucidates:
He said the bullet "absolutely should have gone through, which is very very normal for a high powered, high velocity round. I've seen wounds from this caliber many times and they always just go through everything. This would have taken a moose or two down, an elk, etc."
But it didn't go through. Charlie's body stopped it.
I don't mean to be difficult, but wouldn't a true miracle have been if "Charlie's body" had stopped the bullet before it entered?
Kolvet ignored that take on divine intervention and plowed on:
I mentioned to his doctor that there were dozens of staff, students, and special guests standing directly behind Charlie on the other side of the tent, and he replied: "It was an absolute miracle that someone else didn't get killed."
Apparently, the surgeon is not only a man of medicine, but he is also qualified to speculate on the supernatural. According to Kolvet, the good doctor continued:
"His bone was so healthy and the density was so so impressive that he's like the man of steel. It should have just gone through and through. It likely would have killed those standing behind him too."
Does Kolvet know that Superman isn't real? Probably not. Judging by this tweet, Andy has a problem distinguishing between fact and fiction.
Kolvet completed his social media hagiography with a final tribute to Kirk's paranormal abilities.
In the end, the coroner did find the bullet just beneath the skin. Even in death, Charlie managed to save the lives of those around him.
Remarkable.
Miraculous.
The tweet received comment. On one side were the skeptics who opined that Kolvet was full of shit. On the other, there were the true believers who thought Andy's tweet was evidence of Kirk's superhuman physique.
However, I will rely on the opinion of a man who is America's self-proclaimed leading expert on conspiracy theories, Alex Jones. He is clear in his assessment. Kolvet is a fabulist with a propaganda ax to grind.
Jones offered the following:
"TPUSA is now reporting that Charlie Kirk was shot by a magic bullet: TPUSA Spokesman Andrew Kolvet is now officially claiming that a high caliber rifle designed for moose hunting did not shoot all the way through Charlie Kirk's neck. Then it only gets worse.
He then goes on to claim that no bullet was found inside Charlie's neck. TPUSA in the statement below goes on to say that Charlie was Superman and that's why the bullet didn't go through his neck and disappeared. Claiming the Easter bunny is real, has more credibility.. God help us!"
It is an odd feeling to agree with something Jones wrote.
