Welcome back to another Monday.

Looks like they let the old boy sneak in a little golf on Saturday, perhaps in the hope that he wouldn’t completely blow his stack when he got stuck doing the Charlie Kirk-themed rally on Sunday.

But of course, there was a microphone. And they let him use it.

Greg Dworkin is scheduled to be with us this morning. Although someone could show up at his house at any given time and just start installing major appliances, or whatever. He should get us off to an organized start. But after that, it’s complete mayhem!

Today’s countdown numbers:

9 days until the “legal” funding for what’s left of the US government runs out… again!
1,216 days remaining in Trump’s legal term of office
407 days until the midterm elections, if we have them
468 days—if we have those elections—until we seat that new Congress.

Our new random country generator says, today’s an unlucky day for: Kiribati!

This one, there’s virtually no chance of Trump knowing about. Plus, it’s a little difficult to invade comprehensively, since the country consists of far-flung island groups.

But it’s not impossible! How do we know? Because we’ve invaded some of them before, of course!

So I guess if we’re threatening to retake Bagram, we could threaten to retake Tarawa, too.

Ha ha! Oh, well. That’s Our Trump!™
