Tom Hanks Yanked.

Up until this week there were plans at the US Military Academy at West Point  to honor and present an award to Tom Hanks for his work in promoting and honoring the heroes of the military.  His work in films like Saving Private Ryan and his role as Producer in Band of Brothers are just two examples of how he has played a major role in depicting the heroism of our Military.  Even Forest Gump depicted the heroes of Vietnam like Captain Dan.

Well yesterday they rescinded the offer.  They did not give a reason but it was pointed out that Hanks is a democrat who campaigned for Biden and Harris.

So a guy who hates our military is forcing our Military to withdraw an honor for someone who has honored our military as part of his life’s work.
