Donald Trump is a friendless, shameless, corrupt, violence-worshipping white nationalist bully.

He seeks to remake America in his own image. An America that is a friendless, shameless, corrupt, violence-worshipping white nationalist bully.
 

Some of us don't think that's a good idea, on AnY level.
 

Unfortunately, he's succeeding. In just a year, America has gone from being an admired, oft loved nation, to an international pariah. The creaky design of our system, a supine GOP, an enabling Supreme Court, cowardice in too many elite entities -- all have given him a clear field and minimal friction.
 

I cannot be silent in the face of this. Many folks, esp. here in rural America, love Mr. Trump. One loses friends. So be it. I grew up a bike ride away from Lexington and Concord, and I know my obligations as a citizen blessed to live in the nation those valiant farmers created.
 

298 days til the midterms. As with all recent elections, another most important election in our history. Democracy, or not-democracy. An economy that works for all, or just the wealthiest. Healthcare for everyone, or just the lucky. A strong ally of the world's democracies, or another pestilence à la Russia, Iran, Hungary, N. Korea, or the Third Reich.
