In all the tap dancing around the US’s attack on Venezuela, the planned attacks on Mexico and others over this new “war on drugs”, I’ve yet to hear anything about the cartels in the United States running drugs. Am I supposed to believe that no drugs are made in the United States of America? Then why the fuck is Sudafed under lock and key?
Do you know why there are so many hoops to jump through to get basic medicines in the US? Where you have to have a prescription for Asthma pumps, Insulin, and the likes? Not only that but you are limited in the amount you can obtain per month? Why is that? Ohh yes, because American use the ingredients in certain meds to do what now? Make drugs.
Wasn’t there a big scandal about something called Oxy some years back, still a problem today but exposed then? Something about deliberate addictions, deaths, big pharma etc… right in the US? Ohh I’m sorry that was the “Opioid” crisis not the “Drug crisis” occurring now. I’m supposed to swallow that Opioids aren’t really Drugs… cause well you know it’s Opioids it’s a different clientele.
I’m sick and tired of hearing the so-called push back of “well Venezuela doesn’t do fentanyl” what if it was? That changes what? Does that give the US a right to bomb them? What about meth? Who’s cooking meth? Why is there a fear of meth labs exploding in the US? When are we going to bomb those?
Yes there’s fentanyl and other drugs, but please don’t insult my intelligence by pretending that the problem stems from where drugs come from and not where the demand for drug is high because the US has spent years creating drug addiction in its own citizens. Why the fuck is no one, not journalists, not pundits, not legacy media, not independent media, not influences, not the written press, everyone is babbling about “well they don’t do fentanyl and we want they oil’.
As for the “well he was indicted” crowd, you mean to tell me you think it’s fine to kill over 80 people, bomb a country because 1 person was indicted? Are you even using your brains at this point? The US killed 80 human beings who were not indicted, some innocent bystanders to capture one freaking individual on another fucking continent?.
Here’s the thing, you can’t have drug cartels making drugs, if you don’t have drug cartels buying drugs right here in the US.
