Happy Friday! I’m doing better than I was last week, or earlier this week. Keep your fingers crossed for continued improvement, at least until the next flare hits. I have for you today some relaxing music and footage from the US National Figure Skating Championships. Bit and I have enjoyed watching them over the years, her entire life actually, though they’re harder to watch now. Peacock carries it, but only at their top teir, and it’s not archived. Meaning if you want to watch the World Championships, and they are held in China, you have to be up at like 2 or 3 am, which sucks. They used to archive them so you could watch them on your own schedule. I don’t know why they stopped.
IAN is a great group to join, and a good place to learn to write diaries. Drop one of us a PM to be

First some of the women this year… enjoy the music, and the skating.
Fenna in “Flashdance” She often steals my chair and doesn’t want to give it back, then we have a Heeler tantrum.
Not one of mine but, they do the same thing, roughly.
And here are some men:
Maxim Naumov’s parents died in the plane crash with other skaters and coaches last January.
Jason Brown is a skater I’ve been following for years. He’s not one of the most technical skaters, but he has a lot of personality and character!
And then there’s Ilia Malinin. Bit and I have been watching him since his first year in seniors, when he was still too young to participate in the Olympics, and yet took the gold in both the US Championship. He has been called the God of the Quads. His style could be called Technical Flow. He makes the jumps look easy, and he has a lot of grace, and he is a VERY technical skater.
In my house, the feeling of being watched usually has a canine source. In this case, Sunny.
