CBS News is Finished

Going, going, gone

I realize this isn’t a bold prediction. It’s akin to having predicted that trump would demand Machado give him her Nobel Peace Prize. It was close to a 100% probability.

And I believe CBS News is approaching the same odds.

I don’t have any hard statistics, but I would wager that once a person abandons a program or network, they’re not likely to go back. I know that was/is the case for me with Morning Joe after they did their Mar-a-lago grovel. I put them out of my mind and haven’t for a moment thought of going back, regardless of what their current programing entails. Same thing is going to happen to CBS. Once they lose their democratic (both small ‘d’ and capital ‘D’) leaning base, they’re done.
