Top Comments: Open Thread with an announcement

Here at Top Comments we welcome longtime as well as brand new Daily Kos readers to join us at 10pm Eastern. We strive to nourish community by rounding up some of the site's best, funniest, most mojo'd & most informative commentary, and we depend on your help!! Tonight will be yet another open thread but I do have an announcement.

A co-worker of mine was terminated from the job earlier this week. That means that, for the foreseeable future, I will be facing increased work hours as we have lost two people from our original 4-man work crew from 2 years ago.

Therefore, I do not think that I can sustain doing Friday evening Top Comments any longer given the job situation and my other committed work at the blog (although subbing from time to time will not be a problem) and additional commitments elsewhere (e.g. I am taking a class starting next Sunday).

I will not have a problem subbing in Top Comments from time to time if the work is needed.
