This is my first political cartoon, and, yes, generated by AI (ChatGPT), since I am a terrible artist. My apologies if the AI model substantially copied an artist’s style, which it seems to have done.

This comic is a bit late to the party. I am learning that timing is critical, especially these days with Trump — the news cycle moves on quite rapidly.

It took some experimentation with a few AI image platforms. Google’s Nano Banana gave me one (good) draft image, but otherwise refused to generate an image, saying that it violated its guidelines — that’s a free speech limitation imposed by a tech company. Minstral would only show garbage text.
