I got to thinking, besides the obvious animosity T. rump has towards the governor of Minnesota, why would ICE choose to impose itself in the frigidness of Minneapolis over, let’s say the relative warmth of Albuquerque. Why subject your personnel to such harsh conditions when they could be basking in sunshine?
The answer is, I believe, essentially a pragmatic one. After all , Albuquerque has a Democrat governor. Albuquerque is a sanctuary city. So what is the difference?
Demographics. Imagine Minneapolis. Do you imagine a city of white people? That stereotype isn’t completely wrong, as caucasians do make up the majority of the population, exceeding all other groups combined. Now, compare that to how you might imagine Albuquerque. In this case, if you imagine Hispanic people as your predominant stereotype, you also would not be far off, as the Hispanic population is the dominant one in Albuquerque.
Thus, racial profiling is much easier in Minneapolis, one of our white people capital’s of the nation.
They wouldn’t know where to begin in Albuquerque because the foundation of this goon horde is racial profiling.
I am not really suggesting that they wouldn’t be stupid enough to try. The bar can’t be set too low anymore.
