I love ALDI! I never really caught on to Trader Joe’s on a regular basis although they had the best “rise over night, cook in the morning” cinnamon rolls, but I digress. I come here today to sing the praises of the sauces and condiments they offer at such good prices at ALDI.
As you can see by Itzl's concerned look, this group is for us to check in at to let people know we are alive, doing OK, and not affected by such things as heat, blizzards, floods, wild fires, hurricanes, tornadoes, power outages, or other such things that could keep us off DKos. If you're not here, or anywhere else on DKos, and there are adverse conditions in your area (floods, heatwaves, hurricanes, etc.), we are going to check up on you. I have lots of ALDI grocery items in my fridge and pantry but I seem to collect sauces.This is a list of sauces I have from them. I consider all of these very good and have come over to ALDI’s mayo and catsup from Best Foods and Heinz.
Mayo
Yellow and Stone Ground mustards
Hot sauce like Tapitio
Steak sauce like A1
Bar b q sauces
Orange stir fry sauce
Sweet and Sour sauce
Teriyaki sauce
Cocktail sauce
I have name brand Asian sauces like soy, fish, hoisen and oyster and I am never changing from Del Monte Sweet Pickle Relish. It is the best ever! But for my money and maybe not as bougie a sense of taste as others, ALDI gets my business. The brand name for them Burmans. I would not have paid the regular store prices for so many but the low cost allowed me to try more and I have enjoyed them all.
If you have one of these stores in your neighborhood, I would recommend you give it a try. I have had very few disappointments and a lot of surprises. You may too.
