White House posts digitally altered photo of woman arrested by DHS. Edit: WH responds

The only person they hate more than a Black woman is a strong unafraid outspoken Black woman.

The White House posted a digitally altered photo of Nekima Levy Armstrong, one of three people arrested in connection with the disruption of a church service in St Paul last Sunday. Kristi Noem posted the original photo and about half an hour later the White House posted the altered version. The overt racism and misogyny, aka misogynoir, are both utterly abhorrent and only to be expected from these assholes.

It was altered to make her appear darker skinned, older, heavier, and crying.

I'm tired, angry, and my leg really hurts. So I'm making this a short story.

Edit- White House Deputy Communications Director Kaelan Dorr has responded to criticism of the altered photo in a Twitter post.
